EDWARDS AQUIFER RESEARCH AND DATA CENTER

  • Functions as collection center for data and information on Edwards Aquifer
  • Provides laboratory analysis for 4,000 water samples annually to more than 100 customers in Edwards Aquifer and other regions

INSTITUTE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND INDUSTRIAL SCIENCES

  • Focuses on environmental technology development and multidisciplinary solutions to industrial and environmental problems
  • Provides public outreach and education regarding environment and industry issues

 

Off-Campus Collaboration Partners

  TEXAS PARKS & WILDLIFE RIVERS STUDY GROUP

  • interdisciplinary river and stream assessment program comprised of aquatic biologists, a cartographer and hydrologist, and support staff
  • The primary goal is to assure sufficient quantity and quality of water to maintain the natural biodiversity of aquatic ecosystems and their associated wetlands and riparian lands.

NATIONAL PARKS SERVICE

The rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistnce Program is the community assistnace arm of the National Park Service. The program staff provide technical assistance to community groups and local, state, and federal agencies in the protection of rivers and open sapce and the development of trails and green ways.
